"Great is the Son Day Morning"

Great is the Sun Day Morning, it is meant to be had by all

And GOD said Let their be Light and It was so
We are All now Moths Seeking the Light of His Throne
"Enlightenment"

Some days we hide a midst the stones
Some days we stand all alone
We Laugh, we cry, we dance we sing

And then we sleep and sleep
Until again we realize
we weep

But Yet in our hearts
The hearth shown
He kept It lit and aflame

For we all know
that deep down in the pit of our soul
Tis all just a game?

No My friends Its not the end Of the Beginning
 No not just yet!
"The Great Correction" It's Awakening is set

Days one through six Our work is done!
But yet on the seventh sets our Sun?

Come rest a midst the Feet of Such a Great Light
that none Have seen in Such a Great while
 this Awesome Sight. Rest

And Peace I give to you.
 I give you My Peace...

Signed The Father's Son. The Lord Jesus your Christ.

Revelation 22

The River of Life

1And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 4And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. 5And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

Jesus is Coming

6And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
7Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
8And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. 9Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
10And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. 11He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
16I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Nothing May Be Added

18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
20He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
21The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. {THE END.}

"Under the Weeping Willow Tree" ~By Sinbad the Sailor Man

"Under the Weeping Willow Tree" ~By Sinbad the Sailor Man

A Story Poem, of Life's Hard Choices and Reflections of Loves Failings, Pro-Life! It Is Not a Choice!

The author is attempting to relate three generations and never imply a actual personage, but instead an actual time-line of events, common in our world today. Pro-Life! It Is Not a Choice!

"Under the Weeping Willow Tree"

A gift was given to the world wrapped up with out an ounce of love or joy
It grew a short bit of time until it was found out it might have been a boy

A young wounded child of God or not, taught by society to fear our Father not
This young lass feared the rebuke and the responsibility of bearing such a thing, this ill-gotten fruit

Little Darling labored hard in her decision of life or death she wished to fore go her first real test
She remembered she had always wished to be loved and wondered if she could destroy some others

Dreams, now given away

Poor Little, Darling has never believed in much of anything, she never felt her mother’s touch, for her Mother was put away
Raised in the Hellish Orphanage where the Devil wielded the caretaker’s hands

Poor Little, Darling always thought there was more to this world of filthy lucre and liquor
She has seen it in others, in their mothers eyes, were these too, just lies?

Poor Little, Darling wondered how and why she has lived the life she has lived
In disgust Poor Little, Darling wanted it not for this child she thought she could not love, but in her sadden views

Shown a bit, a little light on the paper that she read, atop of her new found Bible book
In an odd ad that read; please help! Young couple wants child badly they pleaded in desperation

We will pay fifty thousand plus expenses there was a brief description of their qualifications
A young handsome couple with everything money could buy and very thing a child could want

Or so this young, life-lined, schooled, girl thought

Than Poor Little, Darling began to wonder can a soul be bought? Even Christ paid, but He left the choice up to us
What should I do? That she could not decide as she sat on that lonely park bench, the one she had often placed her head in

Her empty folded hands, she clenched as she cried, why? Why me, Lord why, me? What should I do? They could be cruel too
Should I send this child back to you?

Just than came along old Tom a black cat, purring and wagging his tail
Poor Little, Darling knew him all too well, as she sat often and fed him scraps of her scraps

She begun to pet and talk to him when just then, fell upon the thick green lawn, from the heavens above
A baby sparrow’s throne, thrown out from her nest; the young chick had failed to fly her first test

This confused little darling, landed alright, but floundered a bit and then ran under the very bench were Poor Little, Darling and Tom sit
Now Tom was all excited a free lunch he thought, but Poor Little, Darling would not let that old cat go, to claim this prize

So Tom began to meow and too cry, but she held him tight
As Poor Little, Darling sat there and cried a young bearded man passing by asked her why?

Then He seen the fallen sparrow chirping and Tom hissing and clawing
He scooped the young chick up and gently told her to fly back to her low lined nest

Into the Weeping Willow Tree, she fluttered a while and then from out of his hands
This lady of the light she took flight, Poor Little, Darling then let that old cat go

As Tom danced around the bottom of the tree
Poor Little, Darling she turned instantly; to try and thank the young man, but he had to be on his way

As He went He said: ”Have a good day and may The Father bless you”
She wore a slighted smile as He walked away, her decision she just then made

Life is a gift, one mustn’t throw it or give it away

 Genesis 3

The Serpent's Deception

1Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 7And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

God Arraigns Adam and Eve

8And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. 9And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? 10And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. 11And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? 12And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. 13And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
14And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
15And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

The Punishment of Mankind

16Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
17And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
18Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
19In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
20And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

The Expulsion from Paradise

21Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
22And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: 23Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. 24So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

 John 4

Jesus and the Samaritan Woman

1When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John, 2(Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,) 3He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee. 4And he must needs go through Samaria. 5Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. 6Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.
7There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink. 8(For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.) 9Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. 10Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. 11The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? 12Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? 13Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
15The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw. 16Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither. 17The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband: 18For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly. 19The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. 20Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. 21Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. 25The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. 26Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

The Disciples Return and Marvel

27And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her? 28The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, 29Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? 30Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.
31In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat. 32But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of. 33Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat? 34Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. 35Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. 36And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. 37And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. 38I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.

Many Samaritans Believe

39And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did. 40So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days. 41And many more believed because of his own word; 42And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

Jesus Heals the Official's Son

43Now after two days he departed thence, and went into Galilee. 44For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in his own country. 45Then when he was come into Galilee, the Galilaeans received him, having seen all the things that he did at Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the feast.
46So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum. 47When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death. 48Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe. 49The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die. 50Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way. 51And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth. 52Then inquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him. 53So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house. 54This is again the second miracle that Jesus did, when he was come out of Judaea into Galilee.

 The garden

Secretly Seduced was She and Then He

There was no apple in the garden of figs

No Law, no inhibitions, there was no sin

To begin the Garden was a place created with out

Where nudity was not seen even though every one there was naked

There where, they could freely partake of every tree, except one

Some one there was under the gun

Some one was being tested; he would turn

Heaven is, what Heaven was

The Garden was it not placed here, on this now our earth?

Oh man what a plan and whose it is

How subtle this devil really is, how cunning, and crafty; to destroy our paradise

He sealed his own fate with one sentence

With a gift every man or woman could have wanted; to be Omnivorous

To be as God to have our eyes wide opened to know that which God does

To truly live forgot she of the Father’s warning not to eat or even to touch

This tree of Knowledge of Good and evil

For when you do you shall surely die

God didn’t say when or why, for time was of no matter then

Until they all disobeyed that clock did not start ticking

Satan didn’t want us to live, to partake, or to share; he wanted us gone

And he still does you all should know and be aware

This is why he did what he did

Oh he was most fair to look upon to every one

God himself said he made him the “full pattern”

Even the angels did not dare test him

Further still he did instruct a third of Heaven

Maybe that is why he was there in the Garden ; for instruction

We’ll have to wait till the conclusion of this our story

Oh little children do not worry

I have read the ending to this story; the first book

I eagerly await, to never see its sequel

Amen

 Luke 2

The Birth of Jesus

1And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. 2(And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) 3And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. 4And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) 5To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. 6And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. 7And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

The Shepherds and Angels

8And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
15And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. 16And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. 17And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. 18And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. 19But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. 20And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.

Jesus Presented at the Temple

21And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.
22And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord; 23(As it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord;) 24And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons.

The Prophecy of Simeon

25And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him. 26And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ. 27And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law, 28Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,
29Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:
30For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,
31Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;
32A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.
33And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him. 34And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against; 35(Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.

The Prophecy of Anna

36And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity; 37And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. 38And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

The Return to Nazareth

39And when they had performed all things according to the law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their own city Nazareth. 40And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.

The Boy Jesus at the Temple

41Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover. 42And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. 43And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it. 44But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day's journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance. 45And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him. 46And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. 47And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. 48And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. 49And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business? 50And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them. 51And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.
52And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.

"Do You Hear What I Hear?" is a song written in October 1962, with lyrics by Noël Regney and music by Gloria Shayne Baker.[1]

The pair, married at the time, wrote it as a plea for peace during the Cuban Missile Crisis.[2]

Regney had been invited by a record producer to write a Christmas song, but he was hesitant due to the commercialism of the Christmas holiday.[3]

It has sold tens of millions of copies and has been covered by hundreds of artists.[2]

Songwriting

Regney wrote the lyrics for the song, while Shayne composed the music in October 1962.[2]

This was an unusual arrangement for the two writers.

Usually it was Shayne who wrote the lyrics for their songs while Regney composed the music, as they did when they wrote a song based on the classic children's song "Rain Rain Go Away".[1][2]

Regney was inspired to write the lyrics "Said the night wind to the little lamb, 'Do you see what I see?'" and "Pray for peace, people everywhere" after watching babies being pushed in strollers on the sidewalks of New York City.[1]

Shayne stated in an interview years later that neither could personally perform the entire song at the time they wrote it because of the emotions surrounding the Cuban Missile Crisis.[1]

"Our little song broke us up. You must realize there was a threat of nuclear war at the time."[1]

Recording

"Do You Hear What I Hear?" was released shortly after Thanksgiving in 1962.[1] The song was originally recorded by the Harry Simeone Chorale,[1] a group which had also popularized "The Little Drummer Boy". It went on to sell more than a quarter-million copies during the 1962 Christmas holiday season.[1]

Bing Crosby made the song into a hit when he recorded his own version of it on October 21, 1963, with the record being released as a single on October 26.

Crosby also performed the song on a Bob Hope Christmas television special on December 13 of that year.

Over the years, Crosby's recording of the song has been widely played on the radio, and has been available on numerous compilation Christmas albums and compact discs put out by Capitol Records.

A fictional reference to a recording session at Capitol Records on November 22, 1963, the day President Kennedy was shot, appears in The Epoch Point[4], a novel by Spencer Zimmerman.

The novel is a religious historical conspiracy thriller, which provides no citation for any truth to that date. Since the book's publication in 2008, the reference has been repeated several times,[5][6][7] including being published as part of this article.

The song was later recorded in diverse ways by hundreds of artists as varied as Patti LaBelle, Heather Headley, Johnny Mathis,[2] Perry Como,[2] Pat Boone,[2] Mahalia Jackson,[2] Whitney Houston,[2] Jim Nabors,[2] Kate Smith,[2] John Tesh,[2] the United States Air Force Symphony Orchestra,[2] the Tropical Flavor Steel Drum Band,[2] Bob Hope,[2] Glen Campbell,[2] Robert Goulet,[2] Kenny G,[2] Kelly Rowland, the Hampton String Quartet, Eddie Fisher, Anita Bryant, Jack Jones, Andy Williams, Vanessa L. Williams, The Carpenters, Anne Murray, Idina Menzel, Gladys Knight, Copeland, David Arkenstone, Moya Brennan, Johnny Cash,[8] Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, Delta Goodrem, Linda Eder, Diahann Carroll, Ed Ames, Flyleaf, Jim Brickman, Celine Dion, Vince Gill, Anthony Way, Jose Mari Chan, Lani Misalucha, Rosie O'Donnell (with special guest Elmo), Third Day, Mannheim Steamroller, Bobby Lloyd and the Skeletons (as a medley with the rock classic "You Really Got Me"), Kristin Chenoweth, Sufjan Stevens, Pink Martini, Bob Dylan, Larry Norman, The Joystrings, Connie Talbot (2008 and 2009), Kristinia DeBarge, Vanessa Carlton, Theo Tams, former Celtic Woman members Órla Fallon & Méav Ní Mhaolchatha, Susan Boyle, the Broadway Cast of American Idiot for BCEFA's Carols for a Cure (Volume 12), South African singer Jo Day [9] Minimum Wage for Christmas Gone Wrong on Drive-Thru Records, and arranged by René Clausen, The Concordia Choir, The Glee Project contestants Lindsay Pearce and Alex Newell for Glee: The Music, The Christmas Album Volume 2.

In 2011 JLS sampled the song for their single "Do You Feel What I Feel?", William Beckett on Punk Goes Christmas.

This song is also covered by Elmo from Sesame Street and Alicia Keys when she finds him sitting alone and convinces him never to give up hope. In this version, the words are slightly different.

Regney said that his favorite version was performed by Robert Goulet. As The New York Times noted, when the singer came to the line "Pray for peace, people everywhere," he "almost shouted the words." [10]

The line, "A star, a star, dancing in the night, With a tail" can be heard melodically in We Are The World ("There's a choice we're making, we're saving our own lives, it's true").
